facetPlay.com is a consumer website for everyday communications. Our users create facets for different spheres of their daily life - such as Work, Family, Friends, etc., and use them to set the tone and context for all interactions. Users also create facets to pursue aspirations by leveraging the power of influence - such as meeting people, blogging, finding a job, selling a home, etc.

The challenge with most social sites today is that they fail to cater to a user's multi-faceted identity; as a result each of these sites is useful for only a singular purpose. Creating identities on multiple sites and aggregating the resulting content limits the cross-site interaction capability, and thereby reduces the ability to leverage the power of influence.

On the other hand, facetPlay is built on a personal networking model where each user is at the hub of their own personal networks (or facets), thus giving them full interaction capability to multiply their power of influence.
